Talking to our students, parents, and faculty about common conditions and functional diversity is necessary to create an inclusive society. This resource provides you with a simple description, images and messages that you can use to prepare a space, when carrying out your meetings, among others.

You can use it at the beginning of each semester as part of the special education program outreach. It has various forms of use such as:

It has a detailed description of the common conditions that are addressed under the special education program. In turn, it provides the recommended evaluations under each condition, this as required for the eligibility determination process for the services of the special education program in Puerto Rico, although it is not limited to them.

In addition, you will find posters with simple information to understand the condition from the voice of a child and posters with messages that will be a plus to use as a reflection before your meetings and/or place them in a space in your office, living room or educational center.
